When we find good hay we buy a year's supply and build our feed program from the test results. Each horse is assigned precisely weighed portions of two to four different types of hay that can be adjusted daily. We feed top quality alfalfa, orchard grass, and Kentucky bluegrass two or three times a day. We swear by Purina Enrich daily for every horse! It's perfect for Morgans! Several may also receive alfalfa pellets/bermuda pellets/dry cob/soybean meal/calf manna supplements. We strictly follow the 7 days a month of syllium anti-sand colic protocol, and test for sand regularly. We used to worm on a tight schedule but vets now recommend testing instead to reduce parasite resistance. Since we don't have pasture anymore and manure is hauled out that makes sense for us.

Our terrific facility is quiet and private. We DO NOT board or train outside horses, or give public lessons. All our horses are vaccinated regularly. Our skilled farrier, Mario Agular, is here at least every 6 weeks and within a day if necessary. Our gentle equine dentist is Greg Bruce, and super-duper chiropractor is Dr. Don Moore. Our vet since 2008 is Dr. Jeff Moss. Our barn helpers are totally reliable and responsible and have been with us for many years. We are happy to accommodate the feed, vet, farrier, and individual care program of your visiting mare to help reduce her stress. And yours.
